Let’s Walk, Let’s Hike

Let’s Walk, Let’s Hike – May 5, 2019, 1:30 p.m. – Indian Lake County Part

As the snow melted, and warmer/dryer conditions finally return to Southern WI, we will resume our walking and hiking events. The first hike of the season is scheduled for Sunday, May 5, and we will explore Indian Lake County Park. The park has a complex trail system on gently rolling terrain. We can pick our hike to be easy, or a bit more challenging. None of the trails is really strenuous or difficult. Dogs are allowed on the trails, but they must be leashed. However, there is an adjacent dog-park, as well, where they can run off-leash at the end of our hike. So, bring along your furry family members, if you wish to!

After the hike we can also sit down in the shelter to have a “brown-bag” picnic together.

There is no rain date. In case of inclement weather, the event will be canceled.

Additional park information can be found at: https://www.danecountyparks.com/park/IndianLake

We will meet in the main parking lot, at 1:30 p.m.

Address: 8183 State Highway 19, Cross Plains, WI 53528

If you plan to join us, please RSVP to Magdi Sebestyen at magdi.sebestyen@gmail.com, so that I can send you a map and directions, and reach you in case we have to cancel the
