Move & Groove Bike/Walk

For the second year in a row, our Club will field a team in the annual fundraiserfor the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County. July 20, 2024

Join FF Team Leader Larry Neuman and choose any of the following activities:: a 2-mile walk, a 5k run, or one of 3 different bike rides. You can also just come and groove to the band at the post- event party at McKee Farms in Fitchburg. There will be cold drinks, great food, family games and activities, and LIVE MUSIC!

Book Club

Join us in person.  Watch the Mailchimp for location.

We will discuss Cutting for Stone (2009) by Abraham Verghese. This is a long book with 657 pages. There are plenty of copies available through the library system.  Location and time TBD

Second Harvest

Join us for our volunteer activity.  We support Second Harvest by sorting and packaging food for distribution throughout south central Wisconsin.  Easy work and fun.

International Festival at Overture Hall

Join in the fun!   Music and Food from around the world.  We will have a table at the festival to share information about Friendship Force.    See the newsletters for information.  Jan Barbone is still seeking volunteers to staff the table on Sunday.

Today we’ll visit “Middleton‘s Neighborhood Place for Homemade Breakfast and Lunch!” The café is across from Metro Market in the Middleton Hills shopping area and is on the corner of Pheasant Branch Road and Frank Lloyd Wright Avenue. However, the parking lot and café entrance are in the back which is reached by turning from Century Avenue into the driveway next to the Middleton Glen Retirement Community.

Second Harvest

Join us for our monthly service project.  We will sort and prepare food for distribution to various food pantries in South Central Wisconsin
